JJWL:
How did you get started in jiu jitsu?
JC:
I actually won a raffle for a free trial the school was doing at the gym I work out at. Got a call about a week later. Tried my first class and never looked back.

What is the hardest part about preparing for a tournament?
JC:
Balancing work and training.
JJWL:
What have you overcome to get to this point?
JC:
Things I'd rather not share.

What is your favorite part about competition?
JC:
Coming together as a team to put it all out there.
JJWL:
What is your favorite part about jiu jitsu in general?
JC:
The people.
JJWL:
How long do you see yourself competing?
JC:
As long as my body let's me.
JJWL:
What is your best advice you’ve ever gotten?
JC:
Don't worry so much about winning or losing. Just work on being better.
