What Yellow Belt Females are Competing in San Diego 2017
The number of females participating in jiu jitsu have grown significantly in the past 10 years. Legends like Leticia Ribeiro and Leka Vieira fought hard to give females the respect they deserve and it looks like their hard work is paying off. As time goes on, more women are making it to the higher belt levels (purple, brown, black) and we expect these numbers to increase exponentially.
Below is a list of the yellow belt competing in the San Diego Super Championship 2017. It shows a whole lot of commitment to become a yellow belt, so don't be surprise if some of these girls have what it takes to become a Black Belt World Champion.
